about me

My name is Maria!  I am a runner, a hiker, a climber, a biker, and everything in between.  I’m likely to try anything at least once.  What I also try to be is an inspiration for others.  I want to encourage my friends and family to get outside and seek adventure.  So when I’m interested in a new sport or recreation I usually get at least one other IMG_7101person on the bandwagon with me or I ask someone who is an expert to help me!  I’m all about building relationships through interaction with nature and recreation.  I find comfort in knowing that someone is as adventurous as I am.  Whatever it is we are doing, we’re doing it together.  We come out alive with shared experiences but different reactions.  Bear with me as I share with you my experiences, I hope you enjoy the ride as much as me!  If there is one thing I’ve learned in my life its that my friendships are stronger because of the experiences that we share and endure together.

  1. I have started reading this when I feel unmotivated at work, because I get to see the cool things you are up to and relive some great memories.

I’m so proud of you 🙂
